Bhagya is a postdoctoral researcher and a member of the Veterinary Epidemiology and Public Health Group.
Bhagya obtained her veterinary degree from Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Kerala, India. She then moved to the UK to pursue MSc Control of infectious diseases in animals from the 91°µÍø. She later worked as a Research Assistant on several projects before starting her Ph.D. in Milk safety in Senegal and later started working as a postdoctoral researcher.
Bhagya conducts public health research mostly focusing on zoonotic diseases, food safety, and antimicrobial resistance.
Bhagya is involved in delivering and tutoring some online courses.
