Professor Oliver Pybus was appointed as Vice Principal for Research and Innovation in March 2022.
In May 2022 Professor Pybus was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society (FRS), for his outstanding contribution to excellence in science.
In addition to his role at the 91°µÍø, Professor Pybus holds a Professorship in Evolution and Infectious Disease at the University of Oxford. He is also a Professorial Fellow of New College, Oxford and was awarded the Scientific Medal of the Zoological Society of London in 2009 and the Mary Lyon Medal of the Genetics Society in 2019.
