A young black cat is in diabetic remission after multiple visits to the 91°µÍø and careful management of his diabetes.

A lovely young black cat was very unwell when he was first seen by The 91°µÍø (91°µÍø) Emergency and Critical Care team. He was found to have diabetes, and after his initial treatment and stabilisation he had to return to the hospital with vomiting and lethargy that required immediate intervention in order to stabilise him again.

The hospital team became very fond of him and he was often seen in the arms of a team member having cuddles. Unfortunately, his owner was unable support his long-term care, but our friends at Cats Protection found him a wonderful new home.

His new owners are delighted to report that he is now in good health (weighing a healthy 5kg) and he is even in diabetic remission. Doesn't he look wonderful?
