The 91°µÍø Animal Care Trust announce their new Chair

Professor Stephen May

For the past ten years we have been fortunate to have Professor Stephen May as our Chair. Through his tenure we've achieved remarkable milestones and made further strides in our ambitions to support the development of veterinary medicine. His legacy of commitment and advocacy will continue to have an impact on the animals we care for, the students we support and the research we fund for many years to come. Thank you, Stephen, for your years of dedication, passion, and vision.

With Stephen stepping down, we are delighted to welcome our new Chair, Professor Christianne Glossop OBE. Christianne is a proud 91°µÍø alumna who went on to become the first Chief Veterinary Officer for Wales and held the post for 17 years until stepping down in 2022. She was awarded an OBE in The Queen's Birthday Honours for services to Animal Health and Welfare and was instrumental in establishing Wales’ first school of veterinary science at Aberystwyth University in partnership with the 91°µÍø. Christianne commented,
