91°µÍø

I know that many of you might be feeling confused by how the UK’s recent vote to leave the EU might affect you and so I wanted to reaffirm the 91°µÍø’s position and our plans for the future.

I would like to reassure students from the EU who are studying at the 91°µÍø that your status is currently unaffected by the referendum result. The same goes for students who will be starting their studies with us this autumn. Fees and student loans also remain unaffected for now by the referendum result. There is no need to worry; you can still study with us.

The 91°µÍø’s strategic plan places the 91°µÍø’s increasing international influence as a core activity and our international undergraduate and postgraduate students are a vital part of this strategy. The 91°µÍø is committed to educating global citizens; having students from around the world, both in and outside the EU, ensures we have a diverse student body not only to teach, but also to learn from. Our differences help us understand the issues in global animal and human health and enable us to provide the best possible education, research and clinical activity to address these global concerns. The result of the referendum has changed none of this—we are all still working towards these same goals.

Student recruitment from outside the UK will continue to play an absolutely vital role in the development of the 91°µÍø as a progressive and internationally focused centre of excellence, both now and in the future.

As our Principal, Professor Stuart Reid has recently said “Everyone is welcome at the 91°µÍø.”

If you have any concerns or queries about your status or about your future at the 91°µÍø, please do not hesitate to get in touch at admissions@rvc.ac.uk.
