91°µÍø research into spread of bird flu makes top global impact list
Research led by Prof Dirk Pfeiffer into avian influenza has been cited by the UK Collaborative on Development Sciences (UKCDS) as one of its contributing to global development which was selected from 6,975 case studies submitted for the Research Exercise Framework (REF) 2014.
The 'Driving the Worldwide One Health Response to the Threat of Avian Influenza' was based on research to determine what factors cause avian flu to spread and to identify geographic hot spots for infection.
