   Legacies are a lifeline
t is no understatement to say that legacies have had a transformative effect at the ACT helping us build our campuses and hospitals, fund our pioneering
earch as well as supporting students at the beginning of their professional lives to ensure they can reach their full potential (so vital for the future of animal medicine).
Gifts in wills come in all shapes and sizes and every donation can make a lasting impression on the work of the ACT. Thanks to gifts received in the last few years alone, we have been able to:
• fund vital life-saving equipment for our hospitals
• support areas of research like our pioneering
feline diabetes
• expand the 91°µÍø hospitals
• establish a programme with Chang Mai
University to help ensure Thai elephants are
well cared for by their mahouts
• develop scholarships to support the brightest
and best prospective vets, nurses and scientists
Free will-writing service
The ACT is working with Farewill, an online
will writing provider, to provide a free will-writing service to those who would like to leave the ACT a gift in their will.
Farewill launched in 2015 and have since become the largest provider of will writing services in
the UK even winning the National Will Writing
Firm of the Year 2019 at the British Wills and Probate Awards. Their easy online service means customers can draft their wills from home in their own time with Farewill experts on hand to advise
if needed. The whole process can take as little as 15 minutes. For those less confident online, you can also arrange your will over the phone with a Farewill Adviser.
For more information about Farewill please visit their website at www.farewill.com or you can call them on 020 3318 8647 (seven days per week. If you would like to take us up on our offer of
